Additional Information

Insufficient Balance When Sending

The "Insufficient Balance When Sending" error is a common issue related to transaction fees on blockchain networks. Ensuring you have enough funds to cover both the transfer amount and associated fees, and keeping a small reserve of the required native token for fees, will help you avoid this error and ensure smooth transactions.

Some blockchain networks require specific native tokens to pay transaction fees. Here are some examples:

  • Binance Smart Chain (BNB): BNB is required for transaction fees when sending BEP-20 tokens.

Send BEP20 Insufficient BNB

  • TRON (TRX): TRX is required to pay for transaction fees when sending TRC-20 tokens such as USDT on the TRON network.

Send TRC20 Insufficient TRX

  • The Open Network (TON): You need TON to cover fees when sending Jettons, the native token standard on the TON blockchain.

Send Jettons Insufficient TON

Sending To A Domain Name Service (DNS) Name

Gem Wallet fully supports sending cryptocurrency to a Domain Name Service (DNS) Name, making transactions easier by allowing you to send funds to a human-readable address (like gem-wallet.eth) instead of a long wallet address. Ensure the DNS name is correctly linked to the recipient’s wallet address to avoid errors.
